How much is a taxi from Bangkok to Koh Chang?
A Standard Sedan costs 3,899 THB per car and a Toyota Innova 4,099 THB. The drive is 350 km and takes 5 h 16 min. Ferry tickets are extra.
How much is a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Koh Chang?
A Standard Sedan costs 3,699 THB per car. The drive is 321 km and takes 4 h 50 min.
How much is a taxi from Don Mueang Airport to Koh Chang?
A Standard Sedan costs 3,999 THB per car. The drive is 380 km and takes 6 h.
How much is a taxi from Pattaya to Koh Chang?
A Standard Sedan costs 3,299 THB per car. The drive is 262 km and takes 4 h 15 min.
Do ferry tickets cost extra?
Yes. The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person. The car price covers the driver, fuel, tolls and taxes.
Does the car go on the ferry with me?
Yes. The car crosses on the ferry with you, and the driver takes you to your hotel on the island.
Which pier do I need?
Laem Ngop serves the ferries to Koh Chang and the boats to Koh Mak. Laem Sok serves Koh Kood. If your hotel is on Koh Chang, book the transfer to Koh Chang and the car crosses with you.
How do I pay?
Pay the driver in cash, or by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, transfer by QR code or bank transfer to a Thai account if you prefer. Prepayment is not required, but if you need to, you can prepay.
What if my flight is delayed?
The driver follows your flight and waits. The wait is included in the price.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is free.
Is there a surcharge at New Year?
Yes. From 24 December to 5 January, 400 THB is added per car.
Where does the driver meet me at the airport?
At Suvarnabhumi at Exit 3. At Don Mueang at Gate 5 for international arrivals and Gate 11 for domestic. At U-Tapao at the 7-Eleven, 100 metres from the exit. The driver holds a sign with your name.
How many people fit in a car?
The Standard Sedan and the Premium Sedan take 3, the Toyota Innova and the Toyota Fortuner 4, the Hyundai H1 6, the VIP Commuter 8 and the Toyota Commuter 9.
Is the price the same in both directions?
Yes. The trip from Koh Chang costs what the trip to it costs.
Can I stop on the way?
Yes. Ask the driver for a stop at a fuel station or a restaurant.
Can I book a taxi for Koh Mak or Koh Kood?
The taxi takes you to the pier: Krom Luang for Koh Mak and Laem Sok for Koh Kood. The boat tickets are bought from the operators. Each pier is described on the piers page.
Is there a VIP meeting at the airport?
From Suvarnabhumi the form offers a VIP meeting. For a trip that ends at Suvarnabhumi it offers a VIP farewell at 2,500 THB per passenger. The form shows the price before you send it.
