Leaving Pattaya

The road to the pier
The car runs down the coast to Rayong, then east along Highway 3 through Chanthaburi to Laem Ngop. There is no city to cross, and the stretch through Rayong and Chanthaburi is mostly a straight main road with fuel stations and restaurants. Heavy trucks are the usual slowdown.
Allow a short stop for coffee. The driver waits at no charge.
