Meeting at the pier
Write the pier, the ferry or boat you are taking and the arrival time in the order form. The driver waits at the pier with a sign showing your name, takes the bags and drives to Bangkok. Boats and ferries are sometimes late, and a driver who knows the arrival time is already there.
If you are coming back from Koh Chang with a car, book Koh Chang to Bangkok instead: the driver collects you at your hotel on the island.
Which pier
The ferry from Koh Chang arrives at Ao Thammachat. Boats from Koh Mak arrive at Krom Luang pier, which is also on the Laem Ngop coast. The form has both in the drop-down list, with Center Point. Choose the pier on your return ticket.

The road to Bangkok
From the pier the car goes through Chanthaburi, Rayong and Chon Buri to the eastern motorway, 320 km in all. The last hour is the slow part, because the approach to Bangkok fills up on Sunday afternoon and on weekday evenings.
A pick-up at the pier at 15:00 reaches a hotel in the city around 19:20 in normal traffic.
Tickets and payment
The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person. The taxi price covers the driver, fuel, tolls and taxes. You pay the driver in cash, or by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, transfer by QR code or bank transfer to a Thai account if you prefer.
Cancellation is free. From 24 December to 5 January 400 THB is added per car.
