A long beach with space
Because the beach is long, hotels here are spread out and usually have more garden and pool than the hotels in the busiest part of the island. Families with young children and travellers who stay a week or more often choose it. Restaurants and shops are within reach but not on every corner.
The neighbouring beaches are Chai Chet and Kai Bae, and both are an easy ride from a Klong Prao hotel.
The taxi from the mainland
The car meets you in Bangkok, at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, or in Pattaya, and drives to Laem Ngop. It crosses on the ferry with you, and the driver follows the island road to your resort.
