Counting back from your flight
Start from the departure time and subtract three hours for check-in at an international flight. Then subtract the 4 h 50 min on the price list, the wait for the ferry and some room for traffic. That puts the pick-up at your resort about eight to nine hours before the flight.
A flight at 22:00 means a pick-up around 13:00. A flight at 07:00 is awkward, because the ferries are not running in the small hours; plan a night on the mainland and book the Laem Ngop pier instead.
The ferry and the road
The car crosses from the island to Ao Thammachat in about 30 minutes. The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person. From the pier to Suvarnabhumi the road is 3 h 50 min, mostly on Highway 3 and the eastern motorway, which brings the car to the airport without crossing the city.
A delay at the pier is the risk to plan for. The extra margin in the pick-up time costs nothing.
At the airport
The driver stops at the departures level and helps with the bags. If you want the VIP farewell, the order form offers it for Suvarnabhumi as an extra, priced per passenger in the form.
