Pick-up anywhere in Bangkok
Write the name of your hotel, condo or house and the street in the order form, and the driver arrives at the time you set. There is no rank to find and no meeting point to reach with the bags. How the ferry fits in
The road runs east and south-east through Chon Buri, Rayong and Chanthaburi to Laem Ngop, where the ferry leaves for Koh Chang from the Ao Thammachat pier. The crossing takes about 30 minutes, and the car drives on board with you. The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person. The driver waits in the queue, so you do not leave the car for anything except a coffee on deck.
Bangkok to the Laem Ngop pier is 4 h 20 min on the same road. A pick-up at 10:00 puts you at the pier around 14:20 in normal traffic, which leaves the whole afternoon for the boat and the island road. Ferries run through the day and stop in the early evening, so a pick-up after about 13:00 is the one to avoid.
Which beach
Most hotels sit on the west coast, along one road that runs south from the ferry landing. White Sands is the first beach and the busiest, Kai Bae is in the middle, and Bang Bao is near the end of the road. The further south the hotel, the longer the island road after the ferry, so add that to the 5 h 16 min on the price list.

Larger groups take the Hyundai H1 for 6 at 6,099 THB, the VIP Commuter for 8 at 6,099 THB or the Toyota Commuter for 9 at 4,799 THB.
The price covers the driver, fuel, tolls and taxes. From 24 December to 5 January 400 THB is added per car.
