Give the hotel name, or a condo, villa or street address anywhere in Pattaya, Jomtien or Naklua. The driver arrives at the time you choose and loads the bags. If you would rather leave from U-Tapao Airport, the form accepts it as a start point with its own price.

The road east
From Pattaya the car goes down the coast to Rayong and then on Highway 3 through Chanthaburi to the Laem Ngop ferry. The whole trip is 262 km. There is no city to cross, so the traffic that slows the Bangkok routes is not part of this one. Roadworks and heavy trucks on Highway 3 are the usual delays.
The price list gives 4 h 15 min. Pattaya to the Laem Ngop pier alone is 3 h 05 min, so a pick-up at 09:00 reaches the pier around noon.
The ferry crossing
The car drives onto the ferry at the Ao Thammachat pier and crosses to Koh Chang in about 30 minutes. The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person. Boats run through the day until the early evening, and the wait at the pier depends on the queue.
A morning start from Pattaya is the easy way to arrive on the island with daylight left. After a late start, check the pier timetable before you set the time.

For one to three passengers take the Standard Sedan at 3,299 THB or the Premium Sedan at 3,399 THB. Four people with big cases fit the Toyota Innova at 3,499 THB or the Toyota Fortuner at 3,599 THB. Six people take the Hyundai H1 at 5,199 THB, and larger groups the VIP Commuter at 5,199 THB or the Toyota Commuter at 4,199 THB.
You pay the driver in cash, or by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, transfer by QR code or bank transfer to a Thai account if you prefer. From 24 December to 5 January 400 THB is added per car.
Other ways to reach the island
