How to get from Don Mueang Airport (DMK) to Laem Ngop pier
From Don Mueang Airport to the Laem Ngop pier you can take a private taxi, a bus or minivan with a change to Trat, or a rental car. The taxi costs 3,599 THB per car for the 350 km and takes about 4 h 40 min.
Private taxi
The driver waits at Gate 5 or Gate 11 with your name on a sign, takes the bags and leaves you at the pier of your ferry or boat. The price covers the car, the driver, tolls and fuel. The wait for a delayed flight is included.
The Toyota Innova at 3,899 THB takes four with luggage, and the Hyundai H1 at 5,999 THB takes six.
Bus and minivan
There is no direct bus from Don Mueang to the pier. You reach a terminal in Bangkok first, ride to Trat, and take a songthaew for the last 20 km.

A rental car can be collected at the airport. The route crosses the north of Bangkok before it reaches the open road, and the car must go back, which means the same drive again or a one-way fee.
