A private taxi from Koh Chang to Pattaya costs 3,299 THB for a Standard Sedan, the same as the trip out. It is the lowest of the four main fares from the island. The price is for the car and covers the pick-up at your resort, the ferry with the car and the 262 km to Pattaya.

One way, the price is for the whole car, not per person. The ferry is not included in the price: plus ferry tickets, about 80 THB per person.
What the price covers
The driver, fuel, tolls and taxes are inside the fare. The drop-off is at any hotel, condo or villa in Pattaya, Jomtien or Naklua. The traffic does not change it.
From 24 December to 5 January 400 THB is added per car.

The Standard Sedan (3,299 THB) and the Premium Sedan (3,399 THB) take 3 passengers. The Toyota Innova (3,499 THB) and the Toyota Fortuner (3,599 THB) take 4. The Hyundai H1 takes six at 5,199 THB, the VIP Commuter eight at 5,199 THB and the Toyota Commuter nine at 4,199 THB.
Four people in the Innova pay a quarter of 3,499 THB each, and nobody carries bags between a bus and a songthaew.
Pattaya or Bangkok
The way to Pattaya costs 3,299 THB, against 3,899 THB to Bangkok, because the road is shorter. If you are flying out of Suvarnabhumi, that fare is the one to read.
